Pretty lethal lineup for you Yanks as well. All the big hockey countries will have a lethal first line, really...

Is there any meat to some of the rumours I'm seeing around about the NHL still having a plan with neutral playing sites and what not?

I'd take Gaudreau over Kane if we're taking players today.

Also, why was there no poll for the best contract in the Metro, but there was for every other one?

Can't really complain about any of those, I would probably choose Seth Jones over Carlson.

There's meat, but no official plan has been approved by the NHL and no proposal has been sent to the NHLPA. Until something like that happens. It is a lot of rumors and in my opinion gauging public/players, interest/support

Because South Jersey. Might take ADA over Hughes too. Just a shame Bobby Ryan can't make the cut.

Why not? You're already picking clearly inferior players anyway

Yes...ADA is inferior to Quinn Hughes despite putting up more points on a weaker team...please, continue.

Threw me off seeing Hughes full named after only know it as Quinn Hughes.

Guess it's not as weird as hearing Tahir Domi

So, this happened while you were out.
Canada having fallen from having THE BEST goalies to just having really good goalies only makes it a weakness in comparison to the rest of our squad. We'll still be ok, thanks.
That's an absolute killer of a 1st line for the States, though. For sure.

Seems reasonable. I too am an Eichel fan. He just has a great presence with a great shot, moves and his head up and on a swivel. Exciting is the word that comes to mind.

Boy, I sure miss hockey.

Nice lineup. I'd take that lineup as is. Maybe JT Miller on the wing instead of Kane. Gives the team heart.

Anyone read Yohe's take on the top ten prospects in the Pens' system?

I'd prefer the defensive combination to include Slavin. He is pure shut down and could cover for Carlson's defensive lapses.
